Every year Cheney invites grade level families to an evening of curriculum education. This year our parents are learning about writing and math strategies to use in the home to help practice essential real world skills. Families can purchase pizza and a drink at the beginning of the family night activities.
Cheney students are getting extra help in reading and math with mentors from our community. Community volunteers have donated their time one hour a week to mentor individual students in reading & math. If you would like to be a mentor, we need you! Please contact Kathy Parsons, CRT.
We would like to thank our Partners in Education. We appreciate all of the support that they give to our school. The following is a list of businesses that work with Cheney.

Our students are very conscientious about keeping our environment clean and green. The community supports recycling of newspapers, aluminum cans, and phone books so they don't go into the landfill. We collect pop tops and donate them to the Ronald McDonald House.
